Ultrasound Technologist

Our Clinic
Metro Central Ultrasound is seeking a dedicated part-time OR full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join our thriving team. We are a diverse team of technicians committed to providing our patients with the excellent care they need. Candidate complement our team with good communication skills, attention to detail, and patient care. This is an on-site role for an Ultrasound Technologist at Metro Central Ultrasound.
Job Qualifications
- CMRITO certification
-NT certification
- Competent in OB Ultrasound (at least 2 years of experience)
- Vascular and MSK certifications are pluses
- Knowledge of medical products, standards, policies, and procedures
- Being compassionate and respectful towards the patients and their companies
- Mindset focused on solving problems for patients
- Ability to effectively collaborate with team members including front desk staff, other technician, clinic's managers.
- Prior experience in medical imaging clinic is a plus
- Ability to commute/relocate before starting the work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Job Responsibilities
- Perform timely and quality Ultrasound procedures
- Greet and explain the procedures to patients and answer their questions to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation
- Ensure operation of Ultrasound equipment by operating it according to the maintenance recommendations; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Check supplies in Ultrasound room and notify Front Office Manager of any needed supplies
- Clean all equipment using disinfectant techniques before and after each patient use
